Job summary
Modivcare is seeking a Live-In Caregiver (PCA/HHA) to provide one-on-one, compassionate in-home care in Queens County. You will offer comfort, companionship, and assist clients with daily activities in their homes. Active NYS PCA or HHA certification is required, with live-in availability.
Transfer experience and hoyer lift familiarity are a plus. Proficiency in English is required; bilingual is a bonus. Benefits include weekly pay, paid orientation, holiday pay, time off, and a rewards program
Qualifications
- Active NYS PCA or HHA certification is required.
- Live-in availability in Queens County.
- Transfer experience required; hoyer lift experience preferred.
- Proficient in English; bilingual a plus.
- Reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
- Assist with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals) and mobility.
- Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
- Provide medication reminders and support healthy routines.
