Job summary

Senior Resource Group is seeking a compassionate Caregiver in the Los Angeles area to support residents with daily living activities, meals, and personal care. You will document care, follow care plans, and coordinate with the health services team to ensure high-quality resident support.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, clean environment, reporting changes in resident status, and assisting during emergencies per policy.

Qualifications

• C.N.A. certification or caregiver experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• First Aid / CPR certification required.
• Basic reading and writing skills; ability to speak English.
• Promote a positive working environment and teamwork.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to SRG philosophy of person-centered care and Genuine Hospitality.
• Maintain a professional appearance, manner, and approach while on duty.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled per community policies and procedures.
• Documents care given via CareStream; adhering to policies and procedures.
• Provides resident assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with meals, housekeeping, and laundry services as needed.
• Maintains a clean, neat, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Observes changes in resident status and communicates to appropriate staff.
• Responds promptly to emergencies and follows procedures.
• Follows infection control policies and disaster procedures.
