Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Caregiver/Med Tech for Gaslight Village Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will provide comfort, safety, and supervision to residents, assist with daily living activities, and administer medications per orders.

Role includes charting, weight checks, participating in training, and supporting life enrichment activities while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
• Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Developed organizational skills and good judgment.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to physician orders and document completion.
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration of medications and treatments.
• Review incoming medication orders for accuracy and update eMAR.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per service plans.
• Answer call lights and alarms promptly and report changes to supervisor.
• Observe resident condition and report to Care Coordinator/Director.
• Order/re-order medications to maintain supply and stock.
• Complete daily charting and documentation as required.
• Assist with meal setup and cleanup as needed.
• Participate in or lead activities planned by Life Enrichment.
