Job summary

Cottages at Green Valley in Henderson, NV is seeking compassionate caregivers and Med Techs to join our team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health status, administer medications on schedule, and communicate changes to the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a caregiver.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Med Tech experience if interested in Med Tech position.
• Nevada Med Tech Certification in good standing if Med Tech position is pursued.
• Valid CPR certification or ability to obtain one.
• Speak, read, and understand English.
• Committed to health and safety.
• Able to do housework and cooking.
• Well-organized and reliable.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Positive and compassionate attitude.
• Physical stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Read and implement care/ADLs per resident service plan within scope of licensure.
• Respond to resident needs, pendant calls, and alarms promptly.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living and transfers.
• Ensure residents receive their medications on time.
• Record and report changes in residents’ condition to supervisors.
• Daily safety checks and maintain clean, safe environment.
• Communicate changes of condition to nursing in a timely manner.
• Follow safety and infection control policies to prevent illness.
• Assist housekeeping and maintenance to keep the facility clean.
• Promote resident rights, independence, and respectful care.
