Qualifications

• Desire to work with the elderly in a Christian environment that upholds privacy, dignity and independence.
• Maintain punctual attendance according to work schedule.
• Able to organize time to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
• Work well with others and function as a team.
• Good grooming and willingness to follow dress requirements.
• Cheerful, enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn new knowledge/skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more occasionally, and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Promote Harvest Home Senior Living Services mission in daily work.
• Maintain a professional positive attitude at all times.
• Be punctual and maintain reliable attendance.
• Review resident ISPs as needed to stay informed.
• Assist residents with medications as allowed by regulation.
• Respond to resident calls promptly and follow infection control procedures.
• Prepare and serve meals according to plans and involve residents.
• Support resident participation in activities and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Report changes in resident needs or health status per procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
