Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide hands-on support in Illinois. You will assist with activities of daily living, follow care plans, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

You will engage residents through conversation and daily activities, support dining services, and communicate with families and care leaders to promote overall quality of life. Paid training and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED; age 18+.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
