Job summary

Senior Helpers Lee's Summit is hiring Caregivers / Home Health Aides to provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home support. You will build meaningful relationships with clients, assist with daily living tasks, and participate in training to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully pass a state background check.
• Prior care-giving or healthcare experience is preferred, but not required; comprehensive training is provided for the right candidates.
• Must possess a reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to treat clients with dignity, patience, and respect.
• Strong communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking English proficiently.
• Punctuality, dependability, and ethical care standards.
• Ability to work independently and with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage clients through conversation and activities.
• Assist with daily living tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals; assist with light housekeeping.
• Monitor health and report changes to the care team.
• Maintain accurate daily care notes and communicate with family and supervisors.
