Job summary

Senior Helpers Lee's Summit is hiring a Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA). Join a caring team that supports seniors at home and values ongoing training and flexible scheduling. You will build meaningful relationships, provide daily living assistance, and learn through our Care-Academy program.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass a state background check.
• Caregiving experience preferred, but training is provided.
• Must possess a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and active auto insurance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with dignity, patience, and respect.
• Strong communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Companionship and engagement: build meaningful relationships with clients through conversations and activities.
• Daily living assistance: help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Household support: plan and prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Health and wellness monitoring: observe and report changes to the care team.
• Professional communication: maintain daily care notes and coordinate with family and staff.
