Job summary

Sevita is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You’ll build meaningful relationships, assist with daily living activities, and help participants pursue personal goals.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and support those who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Help participants develop developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
