Job summary

Sevita is seeking compassionate caregivers in Indiana to support individuals with developmental disabilities in living independently at home and in the community.

You will assist with personal care, help participants pursue goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and encourage engagement in community activities. A supportive team and development opportunities are provided in a full-time role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily activities.
• Support individuals with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help participants participate in community activities and maintain independence.
• Develop meaningful relationships and communicate effectively with participants.
• Provide compassionate, patient care and report concerns to supervisors.
