Job summary

Sevita in Indiana is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community-based settings. You’ll help with personal care, health routines, and daily activities while encouraging participation in meaningful community activities.

You’ll collaborate with supervisors, follow care plans, and document progress. A High School diploma and at least six months in human services are preferred, with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Help participants pursue personal goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Support participants in the community and with daily activities.
