Job summary

Visiting Angels Paris in Paris, TX is seeking a caring, reliable Caregiver to assist seniors with daily living, mobility and companionship. You will support clients with personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation, while opportunities for advanced dementia care training are available.

Shifts include Full Time, Part Time and PRN. The role offers weekly pay and benefits such as health, dental and vision insurance, plus a sign-on bonus for joining the local team.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about serving others.
• Knowledge of emergency response and first aid is preferred.
• Experience with housekeeping tasks and basic meal preparation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medications as directed by caregivers or doctors.
• Assist with ambulation, mobility, and transportation to appointments or activities.
• Provide personal care and hygiene support.
• Assist with routine exercises and mobility routines.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input and dietary needs.
• Run errands or accompany clients for shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Be a supportive and encouraging companion.
• Report unusual incidents promptly and accurately.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
