Job summary

Visiting Angels of Paris is seeking a Part Time Weekend Caregiver to support senior clients across the local area, including Paris, Greenville, Texarkana and nearby towns. The role offers a split weekend schedule with shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and an hourly wage of $12.

The caregiver will help with light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, mobility assistance, and companionship to enable clients to stay at home with dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent time-management and reliability are essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with light housekeeping and household tasks as needed.
• Encourage and support clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications on schedule.
• Assist with grocery shopping or errands for clients.
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients as appropriate.
• Support mobility and accompany clients to appointments or activities.
