Job summary

Visiting Angels Greater Philadelphia is seeking dependable and compassionate caregivers for Fort Washington, PA, and surrounding areas. You’ll provide companionship, personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping to clients in their homes.

We value patient, kind caregivers with 2+ years of professional experience. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance are required. TB testing is part of the onboarding process and vaccination proof is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Recent TB test or willingness to complete the required testing.
• Dependable, patient, and compassionate.
• Someone who treats clients with kindness and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Assist with walking, transfers, and everyday activities
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Assist with errands and transportation when needed
• Follow each client’s care plan and preferences
• Notice and report changes in the client’s needs
• Help clients feel safe, comfortable, and respected
