Job summary

Right at Home Fremont is hiring compassionate caregivers to support clients in Fremont, Union City, Newark, and Hayward. Compensation ranges from $19–$20 per hour with flexible 4–10 hour day shifts.

Overtime and holiday pay, paid sick leave, weekly pay, and mileage reimbursement are among the benefits. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, mobility, companionship, meal prep, medication reminders, and accompanying clients to appointments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months caregiving experience.
• Genuine compassion for older adults.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass background check and TB screening.
• Reliable transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal prep and light housekeeping.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Drive or accompany clients to appointments or errands.
• Monitor and report changes in client conditions.
• Follow personalized care plans and communicate with team as needed.

Education

Active HCA License with valid PER ID (CA)
