Job summary

HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one non-medical in-home support, helping seniors age in place with empathy and integrity. Roles include social companionship, daily living assistance, and transportation to activities, with a focus on enhancing quality of life.

We offer flexible schedules, paid mileage between shifts, uniform provisions, and opportunities for advancement within a nationwide team. Training and development are available to support growth.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform duties, including lifting ~25lbs
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable

Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance
