Job summary

Interim HealthCare® is seeking compassionate Caregivers/Home Health Aides to help seniors live safely and independently at home. In this role you will provide personal care, companionship, and support for daily activities in clients' homes.

Join a team with flexible full-time or part-time schedules, ongoing training, and a family-like culture. Requires HHA registration in California, CPR, clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active California Home Health Aide (HHA) registration.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and daily activities.
• Offering medication reminders and observing changes in condition.
• Engaging clients in enjoyable activities like reading, puzzles, walks, and hobbies.
