Star Light Home Health in Montrose, CO is seeking a compassionate caregiver for Grand Junction area clients. Earn $21/hour with travel time and mileage reimbursement, plus a flexible schedule and 24/7 care coverage options. Short shifts are available and opportunities for advancement are highlighted in benefits.

We value reliable caregivers who can work day, evening, and overnight shifts as needed, travel to client homes, and provide companionship along with personal care in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, home health, or personal care aide (PCA) experience preferred.
• Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a client schedule.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client care plans
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean home environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
• Travel to client homes throughout the Grand Junction area
