Job summary

Decena Home Care, LLC is seeking a dedicated Full-time Caregiver to work on-site in Washington, DC. You will provide homemaker services, private duty care, companionship, travel assistance, and 24/7/overnight support in clients' homes.

Responsibilities include light housekeeping, medication reminders, bathing, grooming, and safety supervision, plus palliative care support. Must have valid U.S. work status and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver (2+ years preferred).
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Ability to assist with bathing, grooming and toileting.
• Light housekeeping duties.
• Lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification on file.
• CNA/PCA/HHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Homemaker tasks: grocery shopping, errands, light housekeeping, cooking and laundry.
• Private duty care: reminders for medications, bathing and hygiene support.
• Companionship: conversation, reading, activities, walks and safety supervision.
• Travel companion: assist clients during trips with safety supervision.
• 24 hour/overnight care: morning/evening routines and tuck-in.
• Palliative care: pain and symptom management, emotional support.
