Job summary

CareBuilders at Home in Oakland, CA, seeks empathetic and reliable Caregivers to provide assistance and companionship to clients at home.

You will assist with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meals, errands, and accompany clients to appointments while promoting independence. We offer flexible hours, weekly pay, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Registered with the State of California Home Care Services Bureau as a Caregiver.
• Current TB test or clear x-ray results.
• Vaccination per Local, State and Federal guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior; ensure a safe environment.
