Job summary

Griswold Home Care - Gaston & Lincoln Counties is seeking a part-time Caregiver to provide compassionate non-medical care and companionship to seniors. You will assist with daily living activities, including laundry, shopping, and meal prep, while supporting independence and dignity in the client’s home.

Applicants with 2+ years in home care are preferred; training is available. Reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of home care experience preferred; caring for a loved one counts.
• Willing to train and support clients in daily living activities.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship.
• Assist with laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Help with daily personal care including bathing and feeding while maintaining dignity.
• Assist clients with dementia or cognitive impairments as needed.
• Complete shift documentation and communicate with the office regarding client needs.
