Safe Harbor Home Care in San Diego is seeking Personal Care Attendants to provide non-medical in-home care and support in clients’ homes and communities. Helpers assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal planning, and companionship to enable clients to live independently.

The role emphasizes respectful, patient-centered care with adherence to state regulations; eligibility items include TB certificate, LIC forms, and I-9 verification. Weekly pay and flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Eligibility requirements include being 18 years or older.
• Clearance on the Home Care Aide Registry.
• Current TB certificate.
• Valid I-9 documents for employment verification.
• Completed LIC 508 'Criminal Record Statement'.
• Completed LIC 501 'Personnel Record'.
• Completed SOC 341A 'Report Suspected Abuse' acknowledgment.
• Minimum of 5 hours entry-level training before client contact.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care in client homes and communities.
• Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, transferring, mobility support, toileting/incontinence care, medication reminders, housekeeping, meal planning/preparation, laundry, transportation, and companionship.
• Maintain caring, respectful service in line with agency policies and state regulations.
