Job summary

CareBuilders at Home – Arlington VA is seeking empathetic and reliable Caregivers to provide companionship and assistance with daily activities for clients in the community. As a Caregiver, you will help with personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and transportation, while ensuring a safe, respectful environment that supports independence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Active CNA certification and/or HHA certification required.
• TB test within the last 6 months.
• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation (if required).
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
