Job summary

CareBuilders at Home in Arlington, VA is seeking empathetic and reliable Caregivers to provide companionship and daily living assistance in clients' homes. You will support with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and monitoring health changes to help clients maintain independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Active CNA or HHA certification required.
• TB test within the last 6 months.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
