Job summary

Senior Helpers Lee's Summit is hiring a Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide compassionate in-home care. This role focuses on companionship, daily living assistance, and health monitoring, helping seniors maintain independence in their own homes.

The position offers flexible hours, competitive pay, and opportunities for training through Care-Academy, with a supportive care team and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully pass a state background check.
• Prior caregiving or healthcare experience is preferred, but not required; training is provided.
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with dignity, patience, and respect.
• Strong communication skills: read, write, and speak English.
• Punctual, dependable, and committed to ethical care standards.
• Able to work independently in client homes and with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Companionship & engagement: build meaningful relationships with clients.
• Daily living assistance: help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Household support: plan nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Health & wellness monitoring: observe and report changes to the care team.
• Professional communication: maintain daily care notes and coordinate with family/supervisors.
