Job summary

Senior Helpers is hiring cheerful, dependable caregivers to support a local client in South Lake Tahoe. No prior experience is required—training is provided, and CNA is a plus. We will help you through the process to obtain Home Care Aide (HCA) registration if needed.

Responsibilities include companionship, transportation, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders. Flexible schedules, competitive pay, vacation and holiday pay, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Background check and motor vehicle record check required.
• Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration required or assistance provided to obtain.
• Prior caregiving experience or CNA is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with transportation for errands, groceries, and appointments.
• Outings to parks, lunches and shopping.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Activities of daily living assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation).
• Dementia care and memory support.
