Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers Paramus is seeking certified in-home caregivers to join our caring, family-oriented team. This role involves building meaningful, supportive relationships with clients, helping with activities of daily living, and keeping clients connected to the outside world through social activities and appointments.

We offer flexible hours, paid mileage, training, and opportunities for advancement through our Care smart phone app to manage schedules and care plans.

Qualifications

• CHHA certification or eligibility verified.
• Experience as a home caregiver preferred.
• Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, motor vehicle checks, as well as TB, Covid and drug screening tests.
• Must own a smartphone and be able to use apps to track care plans.
• Ability to meet quality standards of care during shifts and collaborate with care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living.
• Maintain client home environment and assist with errands.
• Keep clients engaged with social activities and appointments.
• Utilize Care smart phone app to track care plans and outcomes.
