Job summary

Visiting Angels Greater Philadelphia is seeking compassionate caregivers in Wyncote, PA to help seniors live safely and independently at home. The role focuses on companionship, personal care, mobility support, meal preparation, and medication reminders, with emphasis on empathy, patience, and reliability.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, flexible scheduling, and pay ranging from $15–$18 per hour. All applicants must provide proof of vaccination and meet company requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with current insurance.
• Recent TB test or ability to complete required TB testing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet company requirements and complete documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Support mobility, transfers, and daily activities
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
• Help with errands, shopping, and transportation when needed
• Follow individualized care plans and client preferences
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition or needs
• Encourage independence, dignity, safety, and comfort
