Job summary

Assisting Hands Schaumburg is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to help seniors live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. You will provide personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, mobility support, and companionship.

Flexible scheduling and ongoing training are available; pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour based on experience and shift. A valid driver's license is preferred for some cases, and all positions require passing a background check and

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred (professional or personal caregiving experience considered).
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for certain cases.
• Ability to pass a background screening.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Medication reminders.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Transportation to appointments or errands (if applicable).
• Monitoring and reporting changes in client condition to the office team.
