Assisting Hands Schaumburg is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care in the Schaumburg area. Youll support seniors and individuals to maintain independence in their own homes, with a focus on safety, dignity, and Personalized care plans.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation with a valid drivers license and current auto insurance.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred (Personal caregiving experience may be considered).
• Must be dependable, compassionate, and patient.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and client-specific instructions.

Responsibilities

• Personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Medication reminders.
• Companionship and emotional support.
• Mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation.
• Transportation to appointments or errands, when applicable.
• Following individual care plans and client routines.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in a clients condition to the office team.
• Providing respectful, dependable care while maintaining client dignity and independence.
