Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care – Schaumburg & Park Ridge is actively hiring compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors, ensuring safety, comfort, and independence in the place they call home.

We offer advancement opportunities, flexible schedules, paid training, and competitive pay. Join our team across the Northwest suburbs, with travel to client homes as needed and ongoing support from our office staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience (home care, CNA, HHA, or facility setting preferred)
• Reliable transportation with a valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds and perform light physical duties
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
• Supporting mobility, transfers, and daily routines; providing medication reminders
• Following individualized care plans and documenting care provided
• Communicating effectively with clients, families, and office staff
