Job summary

Senior Helpers West Jacksonville is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors in Duval, Clay, Nassau, Baker, and St. Johns counties. You will provide daily living assistance with respect, companionship, and a focus on safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA or HHA certification welcomed.
• Current in-person CPR certification required.
• Passion for helping others and serving the community.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a Level II background screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide a helping hand with daily living activities at clients' homes.
• Engage clients through conversation and hobbies to build relationships.
• Assist with meals, grooming, mobility, and safety tasks.
• Document activities and report updates on clients’ condition.
• Maintain a compassionate, respectful, and reliable presence.
