Comfort Keepers Home Care in Glen Ellyn, IL is hiring compassionate caregivers to join our team. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Driver’s license and auto insurance (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of general safety and sanitary practices.
• Able to bend, squat, kneel, stand and lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with office and family.
• Assisting with bathing, showering, toileting.
• Meal preparation and feeding.
• Assisting with dressing & grooming.
• Transfer assistance.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, organizing incoming mail.
• Provide transportation for or with client to grocery store, errands, doctor visits etc
