Companions & Homemakers seeks caring caregivers to provide non-medical home care across Connecticut. You’ll follow each client's Plan of Care, transport to appointments, help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and assist with daily activities including dressing and bathing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred for multiple shifts.
• Experience as a caregiver is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence and offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
