Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring across Connecticut for flexible, non-medical home-care roles. Earn an hourly wage with benefits and referral bonuses, with shifts ranging from Weekdays to Live-In. Join a team that values compassionate care and supportive training.

You will follow each client's Plan of Care, assist with transport, light housekeeping, meal prep, and daily activities, while providing companionship and emotional support.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Open availability preferred.
Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
Transport clients to appointments and activities.
Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
Document care and provide reminders as directed.
