Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking empathetic caregivers to provide assistance and companionship to individuals in their own homes. You will help with daily living activities and support independence with dignity.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and accompanying clients to appointments. Training and opportunities for advancement are available, with an emphasis on compassionate, reliable service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required).
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
