Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Kansas. As a caregiver, you will help participants with daily living activities and support their goals in a compassionate, patient manner.

You will work with a mission-driven team, building meaningful relationships and advocating for participants’ independence, health, and well-being every day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Support participants in developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Encourage participation in community activities and independent living.
