Job summary

Endurance Home Care in New Jersey seeks CHHA caregivers per diem. Duties include companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and mobility assistance with a valid driver’s license and car. Flexible shifts cover weekdays, nights, evenings, and weekends.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of caregiving experience, can lift clients, and will report health status changes to the care team. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a caregiver.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a car.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift significant weight and assist in transferring clients.
• Willingness to commute within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Safety supervision and mobility assistance to prevent falls.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Transport clients to errands and appointments.
• Remind about medications and assist with prescriptions.
• Follow care plan and report notes to the Care Team.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and manage health-related activities.
• Participate in monthly trainings.
