Job summary

Mentor Community Services, a part of Sevita, is seeking caregivers to provide community-based support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll join a mission-driven team and help participants live well and engage in meaningful activities.

You will assist with personal hygiene, support participants with behavioral challenges, and help them work toward goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Reliable, compassionate caregivers are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Support individuals with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help participants participate in the community and activities they enjoy.
