Job summary

Senior Helpers Baltimore and Central Maryland is hiring compassionate Caregivers, CNAs, and GNAs to provide in-home care across Baltimore County, Howard County, and Baltimore City. We offer day, evening, and overnight shifts with weekend options and paid orientation/training.

Join a team that supports caregivers with ongoing training, flexible scheduling based on client needs, and opportunities for advancement. Provide personal care, companionship, and mobility assistance in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, CNA, GNA, or home care experience preferred.
• Availability to work during the day
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to pass all required background screenings
• Current TB screening or willingness to obtain one
• CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain it
• Comfortable providing hands‑on personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, and mobility assistance

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Helping with walking, transfers, and mobility
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing medication reminders
• Offering companionship and meaningful conversation
• Providing transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition
• Completing simple visit documentation
