Job summary

Senior Helpers Baltimore and Central Maryland is hiring compassionate caregivers, CNAs, and GNAs to support clients in Baltimore County, Howard County, and Baltimore City. Weekend availability is needed for day, evening, and overnight shifts, with comprehensive training and ongoing support from an experienced office team.

You'll help older adults stay safe and independent at home, provide personal care, transport, companionship, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, CNA, GNA, or home care experience preferred
• Availability to work day shifts and weekends
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Authorization to work in the United States; able to pass background screenings
• CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain it

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Helping with walking, transfers, and mobility
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing medication reminders and transportation to appointments
• Offering companionship and meaningful conversation
• Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition
• Completing simple visit documentation
