Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver Assistant in Fort Dodge, IA to provide compassionate daily living support, ensuring residents' needs are met with dignity and respect.

You will assist with daily activities, meals, and social engagement, while communicating changes in resident needs to branch leadership. CPR/First Aid certifications are required or pursued, and CNA training may be completed within six months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1 year related experience.
• Willing to complete Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) course within six months of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage time effectively.
• Written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Know the residents you serve and provide care per service plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living, meals, and social engagement.
