Job summary

Arcadia Senior Care LLC is seeking a caring, dependable caregiver for our small five-resident Adult Foster Home in Eugene, Oregon. The role blends caregiving, activities, and on-call coverage in a home-like setting.

We emphasize personalized care, meaningful activities, and a positive, energetic approach to support residents’ quality of life. Experience in Adult Foster Home or CNA settings is preferred, with CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or CNA setting preferred.
• Ability to provide hands-on personal care and assist with transfers and mobility.
• Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and daily living activities
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed
• Spend meaningful one-on-one time with residents and plan activities based on interests
• Help residents engage in outdoor activities, games, crafts, outings, and social events
• Encourage activity, social interaction, and independence
• Assist with meals and ensure a pleasant dining experience
• Observe changes in condition and communicate concerns promptly
• Follow care plans and established procedures
• Complete required documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe home environment
• Provide on-call or backup coverage when needed
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, coworkers, and healthcare providers
