Job summary

ExpertCare in Michigan seeks compassionate caregivers to work 1:1 with recipients in clients' homes, providing support, encouragement, and skill-building activities.

You will also help clients participate in community activities to grow personal goals outside the home, with a flexible schedule and paid training.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home caregiving to clients.
• Support, encourage, and help with skill-building activities.
• Accompany clients to community activities to build goals.
• Follow care plans and document progress.
