Job summary

The Residence at Boyertown is seeking a compassionate Resident Wellness Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care. This role emphasizes dignity, respect, and empathy, using memory care techniques to promote comfort and safety.

You will collaborate with the wellness director and care team, maintain clean, compliant documentation, and provide patient, respectful care to residents, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Home Health Care, CNA, or CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties with a positive attitude and uphold ethics and integrity.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility of residents as needed.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks (teeth brushing, hair, shaving, etc.).
• Lift residents as needed.
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with Wellness Director and care team to support individualized care plans.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe medication area; promote a supportive wellness environment.
• Provide attentive, compassionate service respecting residents' mobility, cognitive, and sensory needs.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and team members, upholding ethics and integrity.
