Job summary

Diversicare Healthcare Services, LLC in Oneonta, AL, is seeking compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, transport to appointments, and ensure safety and dignity at all times.

Qualifications

• Physically able to help ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents transfer to and from wheelchair to vehicle.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Qualified as a Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.).
• Clean driving record.
• Clean criminal record.
• Any other state required certifications

Responsibilities

• Assure the safety of each resident when transporting to and from the doctor’s office and/or hospital.
• Accompany each resident on all medical visits. Stay with resident(s) until visit is complete.
• Present resident’s documents to office personnel.
• Obtain resident’s documents and any new prescriptions after visits.
• Check to ensure doctor has written on the doctor’s order form and manage follow-up appointment cards.
• Report to RCM and be prepared to answer questions concerning visit, perform other duties as required.
