The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Healthcare Tech at Olathe Hospital. This PRN, part-time position supports perioperative and procedural services by assisting the RN with patient care and basic nursing tasks.

You will perform patient transport, monitor basic vitals, document care in the system, and help maintain a clean, safe environment while providing excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 6 months of experience as a transporter, orderly or nursing assistant.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred (AHA).

Responsabilités

• Assist with ADLs and basic nursing duties.
• Transport patients and monitor intake/output.
• Record intake/output and vitals; document in system.
• Maintain clean and safe patient rooms/workspace.
• Notify RN of vital sign changes or patient needs.
• Follow hand hygiene and isolation precautions.
• Assist with patient care and reorientation as needed.
