Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln is seeking a Care Partner / CNA for the 4 East unit. The role supports staff and patients, performs direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, and conducts charting to ensure complete patient records.

Hours are 7am–7:30pm with weekend and holiday rotations. IL-licensed CNA with HS diploma and BLS/CPR within 90 days is required; orientation and unit competency will be provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required in IL.
• Active CNA license in the State of IL.
• BLS/CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Orientation and unit competency activities provided.

Responsibilities

• Apply cardiac monitor per policies, procedures and orders.
• Complete tasks per infection control standards.
• Document and report care under RN supervision.
• Maintain knowledge via orientation and unit in-service programs.
• Promote safety with fall and skin precautions.
• Assist with activities of daily living, ambulation and repositioning.
• Provide direct age-appropriate care under RN supervision; perform EKGs and finger-stick glucose tests.
