Job summary

Monarch Communities in Delaware seeks a compassionate Caregiver for PRN shifts to support residents with daily living activities, following individualized care plans. The position is non-exempt and paid hourly.

You will assist with personal care, meals, mobility, and documentation, while upholding safety, dignity, and confidentiality. CNA or DHS certification with a HS diploma required; dementia care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA and/or DHS certification with a high school diploma.
• Experience with elderly residents; dementia care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of resident care plans and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding per care plans.
• Maintain safety, dignity, and confidentiality of residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Keep residents clean, dressed, groomed, safe, and fed during shifts.
• Document all services provided during your shift.
• Report any change in a resident's condition to your supervisor.
