Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a compassionate full-time caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and mobility within our Ohio community in Hilliard.

You will collaborate with the care team, follow care plans, monitor residents’ wellbeing, transport residents to activities, and respond promptly to emergencies and safety concerns, while maintaining a respectful, calm demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; all state educational requirements must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, grooming, bathing, and maintaining personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident/visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly.
• Review care plans and record vital signs as required.
